Community Arts Day at Farragut Elementary.

2017 Maya and Kim Wilson teamed up to lead a Community Arts Day Project, painting two handball courts. The main point was to be inclusive in the project, while maintaining control of the project. We asked students to draw us some woodland creatures for our mural. We gathered the drawings, cut and pasted the childrens designs artfully into a natural setting. We then prepped the walls, transfering the design onto the wall and painted in the background. On Community Arts Day the children came and joined in the fun, painting in the creatures they had designed.
